Soul spas start at the accommodation venue with a welcome drink and meal in the evening of the arrival day (6 pm unless otherwise stated). You can arrive from 4pm. We are happy to advise you on travel connections, which tickets to buy and so on. We will also send out detailed information in plenty time before the start date but the summary info below should help with your travel plans. If there is demand we may arrange group travel to the venue from Glasgow or Edinburgh (costs not included in package price).
Travelling to Scotland
There are many direct flights to both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports. Please get in touch if you need help finding suitable connections. Also check out www.skyscanner.net. For rail journeys within Scotland the Scotrail website is the best place to look.
Travelling to Mull
The best way to get to the isle of Mull is taking the ferry from Oban, from where the crossing takes 45 minutes to Craignure in Mull. There are several crossings per day, even in the winter season, and we’ll advise you which ferry to take if you’d like to be picked up on arrival. The latest timetable can be found on the CalMac website. Tickets cost £7.60 return per person and £28.50 return for a car (as in 2021 timetable). Torloisk Estate is located 25 miles (around 50 mins drive) from Craignure Ferry Terminal.
The easiest way to get to Oban by public transport is by train from Glasgow Queen Street station. The journey takes around 3 hours. The train journey from Edinburgh is also via Glasgow Queen Street and takes just over 4 hours in total. We’ll be happy to help you find the best travel connections!
Travelling to Lower Largo
The journey from Edinburgh to Lower Largo takes just over an hour by car, from Glasgow it takes 1 hour 40 minutes. The easiest way to get there by public transport is by train to nearby Markinch or Glenrothes with Thornton, from where we can collect you. We’ll be happy to help you plan your journey.
Travelling to Bute
The Isle of Bute is reached by ferry from Wemyss Bay, which is a 40-minute drive from Glasgow airport. Wemyss Bay is connected to the rail network and the direct journey from Glasgow Central takes up to 50 minutes. The ferry crossing from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay in Bute takes 35 minutes and costs £6.70 return – check out the Calmac website here We will let you know the preferred sailing time in the pre-travel info and collect you from the ferry terminal on arrival.
