To save you hopping through several pages here are the most important booking terms and conditions in one place. Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them.
Booking & payment
You can secure your space by completing the online reservation form and paying a non-refundable deposit of £300 for 6-night and 5-night soul spas and £250 for 3-night soul spas. We’ll send you an invoice for the deposit as soon as you’ve submitted your details online and hold your space until the payment due date. Bookings will be processed in the order they arrive in. The space is secured once the deposit payment has been received – we will confirm this by email.
The remaining payment will be due 6 weeks before the start date. With the invoice for this we will also send you detailed information about your soul spa. Payments can be made by online bank transfer or PayPal once we’ve sent you an invoice.
Prices include luxury accommodation; all meals, snacks and beverages (coffee, teas, hot chocolate, fruit juices, freshly made smoothies, alcoholic drinks in moderation); use of bed linen and towels; minibus and ferry transport during the stay when travelling as a group; organised walks; some guided meditations; Fire & Rain diary; art materials; a few little surprises. (Flights and transport to island are not included)
If you cancel more than 8 weeks before the start date we will retain the deposit.
If you have to cancel less than 8 weeks before the start date, the full price is payable. We will, however, try to re-fill the place, in which case you would get a re-fund minus the deposit.
We reserve the right to cancel soul spas in the unlikely case that the minimum participant number cannot be achieved. In this case all money paid will be refunded. We would notify you of the cancellation at least 8 weeks before the start date. In the case of acts of God, war, disaster or unforeseen circumstances, Fire & Rain reserves the right to reschedule soul spas. Fire & Rain cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to such cancellations.
Personal travel insurance
We strongly recommend you take out personal travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the soul spa, or for arriving late or leaving early. You should consider trip cancellation insurance to cover your trip fees in the event of travel disruption, illness or injury before your arrival. We also recommend travel insurance in the event that you injure yourself while on one of our retreats. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
